Try Hockey for Free Clinic at The Rinks at Shelton

November is “Come Play Hockey” month and the Rinks at Shelton and the Connecticut River Hawks have teamed to offer children ages four to nine years old an opportunity to try hockey for free on Saturday, November 5th at 9am at the Rinks at Shelton. This free clinic will offer the experience to play ice hockey for the first time and learn the basics of the sport in a fun, safe environment.

Participants are required to bring a helmet (a bicycle helmet is acceptable), a pair of gloves and a hockey stick if they have, otherwise they will be provided. The clinic includes free skate rentals and a one-hour group skills session with River Hawks certified coaches. The first 40 participants to register will receive a free jersey from USA Hockey and a goodie bag.  Storm, the Sound Tigers mascot will also make an appearance. Registration for the Try Hockey for Free clinic is limited. To register visit CTriverhawks.org
