Join your friends and neighbors, in support of Positive Directions, for the 2nd Annual 5K Walk the Walk for families and friends along the scenic shoreline of Long Island Sound at Sherwood Island State Park. The Walk will take place on Sunday, Oct. 3rd (rain or shine) at 10:00 am (registration begins at 9:00) Dogs on leashes welcome!
Food & beverages, kid's activities, great raffle prizes and and a hilarious dog costume contest guarantee you'll have a fun-filled day while helping a great cause.
This year, Positive Directions will be presenting their Community Recognition Award to Gary Stromberg, publicist, author, humanitarian and Immediate Past President of Positive Directions. The Community Recognition award recognizes those individuals whose commitment and contributions serve as an inspiration to others. Gary will be honored for his many laudable achievements and his involvement in making Fairfield County a better community.
