Fairfield, Bridgeport Men Arrested in Separate Domestic Disturbances: Westport Police
In one incident a woman was allegedly punched in the face; in the second one a man allegedly threatened violence, according to police.

WESTPORT, CT - In separate incidents, a Fairfield man and a Bridgeport man were arrested in connection with recent alleged domestic violence disturbances, according to Westport police.
On May 24, Bridgeport resident John Lexie, 26, allegedly twice threatened to punch a woman in the face during an argument in her Post Road East home, police said.
Additionally, Lexie is accused of allegedly blocking the door and not allowing the woman to leave the residence, though he fled the scene before police arrived. He later turned himself into police custody.

Lexie was charged with:
- Disorderly Conduct
- Threatening
- Unlawful Restraint 2nd degree
In the second case, on May 26, Fairfield resident Thomas Moffett, 45, allegedly punched a woman in the face and threw her to the ground while the two were on Clapboard Hill Road, according to police.

The woman suffered minor injuries in the alleged attack, which was witnessed by at least two people, police said.
Moffett was charged with:
- Assault 3 rd degree
- Public Disturbance
Both suspects were released after posting $5,000 bonds and will appear in court in the near future.
