The Granola Bar Expands
The popular Westport restaurant is opening a second Fairfield County location.
WESTPORT, CT - The popular Westport eatery The Granola Bar is preparing to open a second location in Greenwich at the top of Greenwich Avenue, according to co-owners Julie Mountain and Dana Noorily.
The address of the new restaurant is 41 Greenwich Ave., and will it open the week of May 16, reports Greenwich Free Press.
The interior, which measures 2,700 square feet, is being designed by Lisa Friedman with a chic, modern farmhouse vibe. And just like the Westport location, which opened in late 2013, it will serve breakfast and lunch.

As for its menu, the restaurant features delicious "casual dining foods," which are prepared "in the healthiest ways." The restaurant does not have fryers or stovetops, and it uses local and organic ingredients.
"We are THRILLED to announce we will be opening our second location in Greenwich in Spring 2016!" Noorily and Mountain wrote on the restaurant's website. "We are so excited and we thank everyone for the support we have received the past two years – we couldn’t have done it without our amazing customers and incredible employees!"
