"A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to one quarter mile or less. If driving...slow down...use your low beam headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you in case a sudden stop is needed," the National Weather Service states.

For Hartford and Tolland counties, the National Weather Service says, "Dense fog is possible this evening and overnight with visibility down to a quarter mile or less at times. This will make for hazardous travel conditions, with greater confidence across higher terrain of Southern New England. A dense fog advisory may be required."

Some more rain Tuesday before clearing occurs Wednesday and a nice sunny day on Thursday with temps into the 50s.
