WESTPORT, CT — The National Weather Service has dropped the Blizzard Warning for Westport, but a Hazardous Weather Outlook remains in effect on Tuesday.

Here we can expect less than a foot of snow and sleet today. Winds could gust to nearly 50 mph at times. Temperatures will hold at about 29 to 32 degrees, but will feel colder due to the winds. Some coastal flooding is also a concern. And Metro-North is suspending service starting at noon on Tuesday.

Today: Sleet, possibly mixed with snow. The snow and sleet could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow after 2pm. High near 29. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Windy, with a north wind 22 to 31 mph, with gusts as high as 46 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Tonight: A 30 percent chance of snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Blustery, with a west wind 16 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 37 mph.

Wednesday: Scattered snow showers, mainly after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind 14 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind 11 to 14 mph.
