For more than a decade, Signorello of Westport has been the epicenter of modern and contemporary furniture in Fairfield County. As of last week, the retailer has said “Arrivederci” to Westport and shuttered it’s showroom in the landmark structure with its distinctive turned steel façade at 11 Wilton Road. Previously, the ground floor retail space was occupied by another furniture retailer, Palazzetti. The building was recognized by the Connecticut chapter of the Institute of American Architects with a design award after an extensive renovation project in 1988
