WESTPORT, CT — First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker has announced the previously delayed at-home coronavirus test kits have been delivered to Westport and will be available for distribution Monday afternoon.

In a news release, Tooker said the test kits will be distributed to Westport residents at the Greens Farm Railroad Station (Parking Lot #1) starting at 3 p.m.

Tooker also noted Westport's allocation was less than originally anticipated, however town officials will still provide two test kits per vehicle/per home on a first come first serve. Anyone picking up a test kit will be asked to provide proof of their Westport residency.

To ensure safe and efficient distribution, drivers are asked to follow signs and the directions of officials stationed at the parking lot. Residents' patience and cooperation are appreciated, Tooker said.

"I am grateful for the dedication and professionalism displayed by our Emergency Management Team," Tooker said in a news release, "in preparing for and organizing this distribution procedure as quickly as possible after receipt of the shipment this morning."
