Homeowner Puts Out Fire In Westport: FD

WESTPORT, CT – Westport firefighters responded to a report of a house filling with smoke shortly before midnight Sunday evening. According to the department's Facebook page, firefighters found indications of burning in the attic, however the homeowner had already put out the fire.

The department initially responded with four fire engines, a ladder truck and the shift commander. The cause of incident is under investigation by the Westport Fire Marshal's Office.
