WESTPORT, CT — A tractor trailer crash on Interstate 95 closed one lane and caused a few traffic headaches, but its now cleared up, the state Department of Transportation said this morning.

According to the DOT, the crash happened on the southbound side of the highway between exits 17 and 18 at about 7:53 a.m.

DOT officials said this has resulted in the center lane being closed, with the cleanup time expected to be less than an hour.

By 8:24 a.m. the situation was cleared up, according to the DOT's Twitter feed.
