Jennifer Tooker, Rick Towers and Cathy Walsh to be Honored at the Westport Republicans Spring Gala

The Westport Republican Town Committee has announced it will host its annual Spring Gala on Friday, June 10 from 7–10 p.m. at Christ and Holy Trinity Church’s Branson Hall in Westport. This year’s dinner and awards ceremony will honor three Republicans who have gone above and beyond the ordinary to serve and improve the Westport Community: Westport Board of Finance member Jennifer Tooker, Former Westport Republican Town Committee Treasurer Rick Towers, and Westport Planning and Zoning Commissioner Cathy Walsh.

“We are so proud to honor these dedicated public servants who have donated their time and talents in service to Westport,” remarked Karen Kleine, Co-Chair of the 2016 Westport Republicans Spring Gala. “They are energetic, dedicated civic leaders who exemplify hard-work, sacrifice and commitment to our community.”

The Westport Republicans Spring Gala, sponsored by the Westport Republican Town Committee, will also be an opportunity for voters to meet members of the local Republican Party and elected officials. Among those scheduled to attend are Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe, Second Selectman Avi Kaner, Westport-Weston Probate Judge Lisa Wexler, State Senator Toni Boucher, State Senator Tony Hwang, and State Representative Gail Lavielle, among others.
