Post Road East Reopened After Crash, Westport Cops Say: UPDATE
A utility pole broke after being hit by a box truck Friday, causing wires to fall across the roadway, according to police. Update.

WESTPORT, CT — Post Road East between Compo Road and Myrtle Avenue is now reopened, after having been closed to all traffic Friday morning, after Westport police say a large box truck struck a utility pole.
The road was temporarily closed, and motorists were asked to avoid the area of Post Road East near Westport's Saugatuck Congregational Church.
The utility pole broke, causing wires to fall across the roadway, police noted. No injuries were reported.
