Learn about Chinese and Japanese Trees on Westport Historical Society Tour June 18
The walking tour will take place at the Haskins Preserve off South Compo Road.

Westport, CT - Learn about non-native trees from China and Japan during a walking tour at the Haskins Preserve in Westport on Saturday, June 18, hosted by the Westport Historical Society.
The event, which runs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., starts at the the former Green Acre Lane estate of Caryl and Edna Haskins, off South Compo Road. A $10 donation is resquested, and reservations can be made by calling 203-222-1424.
Conducting the walk will be arborist Ben Sykes of Norwalk-based The Care of Trees. The walk will be preceded by a 30-minute Qi Gong class by Westport Historical Society Executive Director Sue Gold.
