Medical Marijuana Dispensary Approved For Westport: Report

WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Planning and Zoning Commission approved a medical marijuana dispensary application for 1460 Post Road E., the former site of Coco Spa, during a meeting Thursday night, according to media reports.

According to the Hour, four commissioners voted to approve the dispensary while three voted to deny the application, which was submitted in March by Bluepoint Wellness of Westport, LLC. They must now acquire a state license.

During the meeting, the commission discussed five pending applications for dispensaries brought before the town in the past several months, the Hour reported.

According to Westport Now, the approval came after a nearly five hour meeting, with the vote taking place just before midnight.
