Meet Tom Foley, Other GOP Candidates at Westport Republican 'Tailgate Party' Sunday

Meet Foley and other GOP candidates for statewide office, along with state legislature candidates on Sunday. It'll cost you $40.

Westport residents will have a unique opportunity on Sunday, Sept. 28 to meet the Republican candidates running for state and federal office at a special meet and greet event.

Voters are invited to attend a “Tailgate Party” to watch football and enjoy food and drinks at 323 Restaurant in Westport.

Among the candidates that will be on hand to meet the voters and discuss the issues are: Candidate for Governor Tom Foley; candidate for Lt. Governor Heather Somers; candidate for U.S. House of Representatives Dan Debicella; State Senator Toni Boucher (26th District); candidate for State Representative Brandi Briggs (136th District); candidate for State Senate Tony Hwang (28th District); State Representative Gail Lavielle (143rd District); and Probate Judge Lisa Wexler.

“This will be a terrific event where the candidates and the community can join together to have some fun while discussing the issues in advance of this important election,” noted Desiree Soli, Chairwoman of the Westport Republican Town Committee.

The “Tailgate Party” Candidate Meet and Greet event, hosted by the Westport Republican Town Committee, will be held Sunday, Sept. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 323 Restaurant, 323 Main Street, Westport.
