Names of Alleged Westport Temple Israel Protesters Released
Two men were arrested after protesting an Israel Defense Forces luncheon. The incident sent nearby schools into lockdown.

Police arrested two men after they allegedly disrupted a Friends of Israel Defense Forces luncheon at Temple Israel Tuesday.
Daniel Fischer and Gregory Williams, both 25-years-old and from New Haven were arrested by Westport Police.
The men are accused of terrorizing people at the luncheon by attempting to gain entry.

Many women at the luncheon sought cover under tables and others fled through another door, police said. Pre-school was in session and was placed in lockdown. Two nearby public schools were placed into lockdown too.
The two were charged with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace.
Williams is an activist for multiple causes in New Haven. He has been arrested before during protests.
