New Design Shop Opens on Elm Street in Westport

WESTPORT, CT - Serena & Lily Design Shop, a California-inspired home and lifestyle brand retailer, is scheduled to officially open its new location in Westport today, April 29, on Elm Street.

The store, which has locations in the Hamptons, San Francisco and Los Angeles, moved into the historic Kemper-Gunn House at 35 Elm St., reports the Westport News. The 127-year-old house was moved from its previous location next to the old YMCA in downtown Westport to save it from demolition and make room for a new mixed-use development.

In addition to home decor items, the aspirational brand also sells furniture, textiles and clothing, among other products.

"We believe that the formula for a happy home is different for everyone," Serena & Lily wrote on the company website. "It’s not about subscribing to one look or following a set of rules.
