UPDATE: New Haven Line Returning to Normal After Disruptions, Greens Farms to Noroton Heights

Update: Opposite-side boading is no longer in effect between Greens Farms and Noroton Heights stations. 10-15 minute delays westbound.

Opposite side boarding is NO LONGER in effect between Green’s Farm and Noroton Heights. Westbound Trains are operating with residual delays of 10 to 15 minutes due to wire damage in the vicinity of East Norwalk. Please listen for announcements at your station.”

Eastbound trains won’t be stopping at East Norwalk, Westport and Greens Farms stations Thursday morning because of wire damage in the area of the East Norwalk Metro-North station, Metro-North announced at 8:45 a.m.

Eastbound riders who want to get to these stations should proceed Eastbound to Southport and board Westbound service.

Also, opposite side boarding is in effect from the Greens Farms station to the Noroton Heights station, Metro-North announced.

Trains are operating with delays of 10 to 15 minutes. Riders should listen for announcements at their stations.
