New Member Joins Westport Board of Education
She replaces Brett Aronow, who stepped down last month after moving out of town.

WESTPORT, CT — Candice Savin, a local real estate attorney, has joined the Westport Board of Education this week, replacing Brett Aronow.
Savin, a Democrat like Aronow, was one of 10 finalists for the post, reports Westport Now. which opened up last month when Aronow stepped down because she moved out of town.
In addition to being vice chair of the Westport Democratic Town Committee, Savin is also a former New York City prosecutor and served on the boards of Kings Highway School and The Conservative Synagogue and Hadassah, according to the publication.
