Our Apologies

Our apologies to everyone who came out to Choice Pet Supply in Fairfield.

The Immigration Law Offices of Cynthia R. Exner, LLC sponsors the dog and puppy rescue organization known as Tails of Courage.  There was a snafu with the planned Adoption Event this past Sunday.  Here’s what happened:

“We are Huey, Dewey and Louie.  We just arrived by transport to Tails of Courage.  As the transport van was pulling into the Tails of Courage kennels with all the new puppy arrivals, one of the puppies got adopted right out of the transport van!  That’s how adorable we are!  Tails of Courage rented a large cargo van for several days, drove out to PA to meet a transport, drove back to Connecticut, unloaded all the new arrivals, kept the van for several  days, loaded the van back up on Sunday and drove down to Choice Pet Supply in Fairfield for the big Adoption Event.  This was to be the last adoption event in the month of November.  The adoption event was confirmed with the District Manager, but when the cargo van and all the puppies arrived on Sunday, there was a new store manager who told customers and TOC that the event was cancelled.

The van had to make the drive all the way back up to Danbury, with not one dog or puppy being unloaded or adopted.  Now, the TOC kennels are full to the brim.

We are just 3 of the wonderful puppies who arrived last week.  There are many more all looking for their forever homes.  We had all hoped to be able to find families this past weekend, so we could spend a wonderful Thanksgiving too, but that was not to be.  If anyone is interested in adding a furry little face to their Thanksgiving celebration this week, please visit www.tailsofcourage.org and take a look at all the great furry babies available for adoption.

Tails of Courage is located at One Pembroke Road, Danbury, CT and is open every day, 7 days per week from 9:00 to 5:30.  Kennel workers will even be working on Thanksgiving to take care of all us beautiful babies, because we still need clean bedding, fresh water and food even on holidays.  Please keep us in your prayers, and spread the word that everyone needs a home for the holidays.
