In-person COVID Health & Safety Policy Update
For the safety of our audience and our community, we have set up a few requirements to attend an event at the Playhouse.

From Westport Country Playhouse
Your health and safety are important to us.
Via our audience survey, we know that over 95% of you are vaccinated. And based upon the CDC and Connecticut Health Department guidelines, case counts are low enough to open our doors for in-person theater! For the safety of our audience and our community, we have set up a few requirements to attend an event at the Playhouse.
All visitors must be vaccinated or wear a mask.
- We will require all visitors to provide proof that they have been vaccinated. Upon entering any of our indoor spaces – Jason Robards Theatre, the Lucille Lortel White Barn, or the administrative offices – you will be asked to show your vaccination card (you may bring a copy or a picture of it on your phone) or provide other proof such as a travel app or documentation from your health provider.
- Visitors who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask (including children under 12 and those with medical or religious exemptions).
- For the safety of those who are not vaccinated, all Playhouse staff and volunteers in our public spaces will wear a mask (unless they are part of the performance).
Masks will be provided for those who forget to bring their own or do not have their proof of vaccination status available.
