Person-to-Person Receives $10,000 From Newman's Own Foundation
Grant Will Support Norwalk Emergency Assistance Program

Earlier this month, Person-to-Person received a $10,000 grant from Westport-based Newman’s Own Foundation to support the Norwalk Emergency Assistance Program.
Through the Emergency Assistance Program, which provides food, clothing and financial assistance, P2P helps meet the immediate need of the working poor – such as food insecurity or the threat of eviction – and offers casework services to guide clients toward self-sufficiency. The P2P Norwalk office provides these programs and services to residents of Norwalk, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
Newman’s Own Foundation has been a steady supporter of Person-to-Person since 1989. P2P Executive Director Ceci Maher said, “We appreciate the Foundation’s support and we are very pleased that the P2P mission aligns with Paul Newman’s dream of changing the lives of those less fortunate.”
