Planned Westport Amazon Fresh Store Receives Sign Approval: Report

WESTPORT, CT — The soon-to-open Amazon Fresh grocery store in Westport recently received approval for its sign, one of the last hurdles for the store, reported The Hour.

Slated for the former Barnes & Noble site at 1076 Post Road East, the store had run into trouble over its sign, which had been rejected by the Architectural Review Board and the Zoning Board of Appeals for being too big.

However, a smaller sign has been approved, which clears the way for the store to open in the not-too-distant future, though when it will open has not been disclosed.
