School Buses Rolled In Westport Thursday
A bus driver strike has been averted for the time being.

WESTPORT, CT — School buses picked up students in Westport Thursday, April 27, as concerns of a strike by Dattco Transportation drivers eased.
Schools Superintendent Dr. Colleen Palmer posted the news to both Facebook and Twitter early Thursday.

Dattco reported they have enough drivers to cover routes this morning, Thursday, April 27.

A federal mediator asked the drivers' union leadership not to promote a strike, and leadership complied, reports Westport Now. Negotiations are slated to continue.
