Shoah Memorial Fairfield Event Rescheduled In Westport
A Holocaust memorial sculpture, "She Wouldn't Take Off Her Boots," is scheduled to be installed at Fairfield University in July.
WESTPORT, CT — Shoah Memorial Fairfield Connecticut, a nonprofit organization, announced that its presentation, “Fighting Antisemitism and Celebrating Community: An Introduction to the Shoah Memorial,” has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on April 12 at The Westport Library.
Organizers had originally scheduled the event for January, but inclement weather prompted the postponement to April.
The program will provide an overview of the Shoah Memorial, a planned project in Fairfield intended to commemorate victims of the Holocaust and address contemporary antisemitism. Organizers say the initiative is designed to promote education and community engagement at the local level.
