A fire alarm is being credited with helping save lives at the Roseville Road fire that occurred Tuesday.
Assistant Fire Chief Michael Kronick said that people escaped the fire thanks to an alert from a smoke alarm, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The fire was reported around 1:51 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters learned that residents made it out on their own and were able to focus on quickly knocking down the fire.
