Take a Look at Compo Beach from the Air

This aerial view of Compo Beach, the parking lot, playing fields and the small peninsula it sits on shows a place in town most Westporters have been to, often many times — but you’ve probably never seen it quite this way.

In this YouTube video, you can see waves coming to the shore, birds flying below you, a car or two traveling in the park, the sun’s shimmering reflection on the water and differences in the water that you’re looking down on.

The video is long, at 9 minutes, 29 seconds, but most of the interesting parts can be seen in the first few minutes, as the viewpoint rises and rises.
