Thomas Melfi Joins Nusbaum & Parrino as Associate Attorney

Thomas M. Melfi, attorney at law, recently joined the family law practice of Nusbaum & Parrino P.C. as an associate attorney. Melfi is involved with the full spectrum of client representation, including drafting and prosecution of pre- and post-judgment motions, conducting and managing discovery, witness examinations during court hearings, negotiation and drafting of final agreements, and other agreements submitted to the court.
Prior to joining Nusbaum & Parrino, a Westport-based family law boutique dedicated to the litigation and negotiation of substantial cases, Melfi was a judicial clerk at the New Haven Superior Court for the Honorable James G. Kenefick Jr. and the Honorable Lynda B. Munro in Family Court. Melfi is fully committed to providing effective representation in cases involving divorce, custody, child support, asset protection and equitable distribution issues.

Melfi earned a Juris Doctor degree and master’s degree in business administration from Western New England University in 2013. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business in 2010. Melfi was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 2013 and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
