The Watermark at 3030 Park Welcomes Essex Residents to Speak on Sailing to Cuba

The couple will discuss their experiences living full-time on a sail boat

On Tuesday, July 12, The Watermark at 3030 Park will host “Cruising Cuba Aboard Pandora”, a presentation about their experience sailing around Cuba by guest speakers Bob and Brenda Osborn. The discussion is open to the public and will be held at 2 p.m. at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.

The Osborn’s presentation at The Watermark at 3030 Park will discuss their experiences living full-time on a sail boat and their most recent excursion to Cuba.

Since the early 1980s, the Osborn’s have sailed through international waters on a succession of sailboats; their current vessel, Pandora, is a 47-foot composite cruising sailboat that was launched in Helsinski, Finland in 2007. Since retiring in 2012, the Osborn’s now split their year between their Essex home and sailing aboard Pandora.
