Westport Country Playhouse's Annual 'Educational and Community Engagement Initiative' Launches July 17
The playhouse and community partners will "bring the public an array of exciting events, most free-of-charge!"
Westport, CT - The Westport Country Playhouse launches its seventh annual educational and community engagement initiative on July 17, according to organizers.
Kicking off the program will be a production of Ayad Akhtar's “The Invisible Hand,” a political and financial thriller about the kidnapping of a bank employee in Pakistan. The play runs from July 19 through Aug. 6.
"As in past seasons, we have teamed up with a host of community partners to bring the public an array of exciting events, most free-of-charge!" officials wrote about this year's engagement initiative on the playhouse website.
