Westport Couple Shot Arrows, Threw Rocks at Neighbor's Property: Cops

In less than a month, Kyle and Carrie Owen have had two run-ins with the law.

WESTPORT, CT - The Westport couple already facing charges in connection with an armed standoff with police, are now facing new charges for allegedly shooting arrows and throwing rocks at a Richmondville Avenue neighbor's property, according to police.

"Kyle and Carrie [Owen] were captured on video surveillance trespassing on their neighbor’s property several times in the previous week," wrote police in a statement. "They were shooting arrows into the neighbor’s property on one occasion, and throwing large rocks over a fence in the same neighbor’s property on another occasion."

Both Owens are 44 years old and were arrested at their Richmondville Avenue home on May 28. They were charged with:

  • Disorderly Conduct
  • Criminal Trespass 1st Degree

They were released after each posting a $5,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on June 7.

In the the May 16 standoff, the couple barricaded themselves and their child in their home, and at various times Kyle Owen was allegedly seen waving around a hatchet.
