Westport Democrats To Vote On Recommendations For BOE, ZBA Openings
The party's Nominating Committee is putting forth two names for consideration on Monday night.
WESTPORT, CT — The Westport Democratic Town Committee is scheduled to vote Monday on two residents who have been recommended to fill vacancies on the Westport Board of Education and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Abby Gordon-Tolan has been recommended by the Nominating Committee for the Board of Education vacancy, and Joe Scordato has been recommended for the ZBA seat.

"Abby brings an exceptional background to the BoE. She has served as the Co-Chair of the Special Education PTA, PTA President at Kings Highway Elementary School, DEI Representative at Coleytown Middle School, and has been a New York City public school teacher.
"Joe has tremendous experience for the ZBA role. He is an accomplished attorney who currently serves as the Democratic alternate on the ZBA. He also is a former Vice Chair of the Westport Democratic Town Committee and has volunteered for several local, state, and national campaigns."
