Westport Executive Appointed Chair of the Make-A-Wish® CT Board
Make-A-Wish® Connecticut is proud and honored to announce the appointment of Tracey Yurko as Chair of the Make-A-Wish® Connecticut Board of

Yurko is the Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary and a Partner of Westport-based Bridgewater Associates, global leader in institutional portfolio management and the world’s largest hedge fund with approximately $150 billion in assets under management. She is also a member of the firm’s Executive and Operating Committees.
At Bridgewater, Yurko oversees the Legal and Regulatory Department and is credited with executing on a transformational redesign of the firm’s legal and regulatory team and for her conviction for championing diversity and inclusion, particularly among women. Among her many accomplishments, Yurko is a recipient of Corporate Counsel’s "2020 Women, Influence & Power in Law General Counsel of the Year” award, which honors individuals who have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession.
Prior to joining Bridgewater in 2012, Yurko practiced with the international law firms, Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP.

Yurko graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with honors, received a Master of Sciences degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated from University of Southern California Gould School of Law. She also serves on The Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Advisory Board.
