Westport Fire Department Promotes, Swears-In Firefighters Friday
Two are receiving promotions and three new members are joining the department.
Westport, CT - The Westport Fire Department will promote two veterans and add three new firefighters during a ceremony Friday at the department's headquarters, officials announced.
Lieutenant Kenneth Lombardi will be promoted to the position of Assistant Fire Chief and Firefighter Philip Hessberger to the position of Fire Lieutenant. And the department will add Christopher Balich, Elizabeth Ferguson and Joshua Gamble as Firefighters.
First Selectman Jim Marpe will administer the Oath of Office to the five during the 2 p.m. ceremony, together with Fire Chief Andrew Kingsbury.
