Westport To Host 'State Of The Town' Meeting

Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe and Board of Education Chair Mark Mathias will speak at a town-hall style meeting.

From The Town of Westport: Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe and Board of Education Chair Mark Mathias will speak at a town-hall style “State of the Town” meeting on Sunday, February 10, at 4pm in the Town Hall Auditorium.

Jim Marpe and Mark Mathias will present their thoughts about the town and the schools, followed by a question and answer session moderated by RTM Deputy Moderator and Westport Rotary President Jeffrey Wieser.

Refreshments will follow in the Town Hall lobby.

The State of the Town is being sponsored as a joint initiative of the Westport Sunrise Rotary and the Westport Rotary Club. Rotary is an international service organization with over 34,000 clubs and 1.9 million members worldwide.
