Westport Library Hosts Robin Williams Film Festival This Weekend

The library will screen "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Dead Poets Society," "Good Will Hunting" and "Mrs. Doubtfire."

The Wesport Library will honor the memory of recently deceased actor and comedian Robin Williams by hosting a film festival of his cinematic works.

The movies will be shown Friday through Sunday in the McManus Room of the Westport Library.

Friday, August 15
1 p.m. “Good Morning, Vietnam”: An unorthodox and irreverent DJ begins to shake up things when he is assigned to the US Armed Services Radio station in Vietnam. (1988, 121 mins.)

Saturday, August 16
11 a.m. “Dead Poets Society”: English teacher John Keating inspires his students to a love of poetry and to seize the day. (1989, 128 mins.)
2 p.m. “Good Will Hunting”: Will Hunting, a janitor at M.I.T., has a gift for mathematics, but needs help from a psychologist to find direction in his life. (1998, 126 mins.)
