Westport Resident and Actor, 47, Arrested on Child Pornography Charges: Police
Dozens of digital images of child pornography were allegedly discovered during a search of the actor's home.

WESTPORT, CT — A 47-year-old Westport man was arrested on child pornography charges early Wednesday morning after police allegedly found "over 50 digital images of Child Pornography" during a search of the suspect's Riverside Avenue home.
The case unfolded after Westport police were alerted to "an inappropriate sexting relationship" between local resident Paul Jude Letersky and a juvenile from Colorado.
"On January 04, 2017, at approximately 5:00a.m., the Westport Police Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on Letersky’s home, 175 Riverside Avenue," wrote Lt. David Farrell in a statement. "Over 50 digital images of Child Pornography were discovered during the search. Based on this evidence, Letersky was arrested on scene for Child Pornography, 1st Degree."

Details about the circumstances surrounding the case were not disclosed, and the case remains under investigation by the Westport Police Detective Youth Division, led by Sgt. Sereniti Dobson.
According to the Internet Movie Database, Letersky is an actor who has appeared in such shows as "The Americans" and "Boardwalk Empire," and in movies such as "Bridge of Spies," "Hope Springs" and "The Wolf of Wall Street."

Additionally, assisting with the investigation is the Southwest Connecticut Technical Investigation Unit, comprised of officers from Weston, New Canaan, Norwalk, Greenwich and Connecticut State Police.
Letersky has been charged with:
- Child Pornography, 1st degree
- Enticing a Minor
- Risk of Injury
He is being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Jan. 13.
