Westport Man, Bridgeport Woman Arrested on Narcotics Charges: Cops

The two allegedly broken into a home on Cricket Lane, according to police.

WESTPORT, CT — A 24-year-old Westport man, and a 37-year-old Bridgeport woman, were arrested on narcotics and other charges on Aug. 10 after police discovered the two allegedly broke into a vacant home on Cricket Lane.

Initially, officers were called to the home to assist in the recovery of a motor vehicle that had been taken without the owner's permission, according to Westport police.

"While on scene, officers observed that a window pane on the front door was shattered and there were pry marks by the door knob," wrote Lt. David Farrell in a statement. "The homeowner was contacted and he stated that the damage to the door was new. The homeowner said that no one should be at the residence, but advised that his adult son, Ian Parker, may have entered."

Officers knocked on the door, but at first no one answered. But as they entered the home, Parker appeared and was taken into custody. As they searched the home, officers also discovered a woman, Marianna Perez, hiding in the attic.

"Illegal narcotics as well as drug paraphernalia were seen in plain view," according to Farrell.
