Westport PD Now Accepts Appointments For Fingerprinting Services

The change is being made to help alleviate wait times, officials said.

The Westport Police Department announces that it now allows for those seeking our fingerprinting services to make appointments in advance. This change is being made to help alleviate wait times and to better coordinate the provision of these services to the public by our officers.

Fingerprinting is and will continue to be conducted at police headquarters on both Tuesdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm and Thursdays from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Appointments are offered in ten minute increments during these timeframes. A link to the site on which appointments can be made has been included below.

Those seeking additional information on our fingerprinting services can obtain it from the tab labeled “Fingerprinting” on the police department’s website which also includes a link to the appointment scheduling site at the bottom of the page. A link to the department’s website has also been included below.

While walk-in customers will continue to be accepted, those making appointments will be given first priority over those who do not.
