Westport Police Arrest Suspect in 2015 Home Break-In: Report
The burglary occurred in November at a residence on Main Street.

WESTPORT, CT — A 58-year-old Stratford man was arrested Wednesday on third-degree burglary and larceny charges in connection with a November 2015 break-in at a residence on Main Street in Westport, according to police.
The suspect, Sherman Miles, has an extensive criminal history that dates back to the 1970s, reports the Connecticut Post, which led the court to set a $100,000 bond. He remains in custody and is next scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 13.
Miles is accused of breaking into the home through a glass screen door and stealing a laptop, jewelry, an iPhone and other items, some of which were traced to a Stratford pawn shop that reported the items to police.
