Westport Police Make Homegoods Shoplifting Arrest

A woman turned herself in on an active warrant after her vehicle was seized and searched.

WESTPORT, CT- A New Rochelle, N.Y. woman turned herself into police on larceny charges March 9.

Tamika Davis, 26, was first arrested in March 2015 for stealing merchandise from Homegoods, according to police.

Her vehicle was seized and a search warrant was executed that revealed multiple stolen items and bags lined with aluminum to thwart security sensors. Magnetic security tag removers were also found.

Davis turned herself in on March 9 to police. She was charged with fifth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device.
