Westport Principal Returning To Duties After Being Put On Leave

WESTPORT, CT — Westport school administrators announced that Coleytown Middle School Principal Kris Szabo will return from administrative leave Wednesday after she was criminally charged in Southbury last year.

Szabo has been on leave since Dec. 4. She was charged with second-degree breach of peace Nov. 27 after a reported parking dispute, according to the Hour.

Prosecutors nolled the case, meaning they declined to prosecute it. Nolled cases are dismissed after 13 month of inactivity.
