Westport will face Fairfield National on Friday (5:30 p.m., Blackham) in the loser's bracket final in the District Two 12-year-old Little League tournament.

Westport stayed alive with a 10-3 win over Trumbull American on Tuesday in the loser's bracket.

Max Richlin and Mack Muller each went 2-for-4 with two singles and an RBI as Westport stayed alive with an 11-3 win over Trumbull on Tuesday.

The winner of that game advances to Saturday's final against Fairfield American. Westport lost to Fairfield American 12-5 on Monday but held a 5-4 lead entering the bottom of the fifth. 

The Westport 10-year-old baseball team began play in the sectional tournament on Wednesday with a 21-3 win over District Four champion Orange in a game that was stopped after four innings due to the mercy rule.

On Thursday, Westport takes on district five champion Edgewood at Shelton National (8 p.m.).

On Saturday, it faces district three champion Beacon Falls in Naugatuck. Westport concludes pool play on Monday against district one champion North Stamford in Naugatuck.
