Girls soccer

Westhill 1, Staples 0 -- Jessie Ambrose made eight saves as the Wreckers (5-4-1) fell to the Vikings (10-1-1). Staples fell to ninth in the FCIAC standings, two points behind Fairfield Ludlowe (6-5-1) and Wilton (5-2-4) in the battle for the final playoff spot
