Westport Scores and Standings: Sept. 22

The Fairfield Mariners have advanced to the championship in the Fairfield County Men's Senior Baseball League.

The second-seeded Mariners will face the top-seeded Monroe Top Hats in a two-out-of-three for the title this weekend. The site of the series has yet been determined.

Fairfield advanced to the finals by defeating the Bridgeport Brewers in the semifinals last weekend The Top Hats swept the New Canaan Cannons.

Monroe finished 14-2 in the the regular season, one game ahead of the Mariners.

In the President's Cup finals, the Stamford Phillies and Westport Cardinals meet in a two-out-of-three series. The Cardinals swept the Trumbull Titans in the semifinals.
