Fresh off its third 1-0 win of the season, the Staples boys soccer team could face another test on Friday when the undefeated Wreckers (5-0) host FCIAC power Norwalk (4-1).
While Staples has yielded only two goals, the Bears have surrendered just five and feature a superb goalie in Svet Kozak, who started for Norwalk as a freshman last year when the Bears won the FCIAC regular season title.

After suffering a 2-0 loss to Trumbull, the Bears rebounded with a 3-2 win over Westhill in their last outing on Saturday. Norwalk has been off for nearly a week.
