WESTPORT, CT — A sushi restaurant in Westport has reopened after suddenly closing for a renovation in April. An employee at Matsu Sushi confirmed Wednesday the restaurant reopened late last month.

Located at 33 Jesup Road, the restaurant surprised customers when it temporarily closed down in April. A sign was posted on the restaurant's window, addressed to their "valued customers."

"Matsu Sushi is currently closed for a renovation. Sorry for any inconvenience it may cause," the sign from Matsu Management read.
