A 55-year-old Westport woman received a head injury Sunday night when the car she was in crashed on Interstate 95 near the Bridgeport-Stratford line, according to Hearst Newspapers.
Dawn Christopherson, 55, of Canal Street remained in critical condition by Monday afternoon at Bridgeport Hospital. She was a passenger in a classic Corvette driven by Larry Lee, 59, of Stratford, at about 10:10 p.m. when the car in the “northbound” (that is, eastbound) lanes veered across three lanes of traffic, then hit the metal guard rail on the right shoulder of the highway.
