Winners Announced in MoCA Westport's High School Exhibition
The exhibition features close to 200 entries from across CT and NY, including painting, photography, digital art, drawings, sculpture & more

With close to 200 entries from across Connecticut and New York, MoCA Westport's Hindsight is 2020 exhibition features a diverse portrait of what young people experienced in the challenging and unique year of 2020.
Jurists for the exhibition include Paul Efstathiou, Director of Contemporary Art at Hollis Taggart Gallery; Amy Kaplan, a Westport-based artist and RTM member; and Tessa Moore, Vice President of MoCA Westport’s 2020-2021 Teen Council and a Staples High School junior.
Congratulations to those selected for special recognition. Cash prizes of $500, $300 and $100 will be awarded:

- First Place: Abigail Nima, Melancolía, Fairchild Wheeler–Information Technology and Software Engineering High School, Bridgeport, Connecticut, Grade 12
- Second Place: Gwendolyn Toll, Walls of Liberty and Limitation, Horace Greeley High School, Chappaqua, New York, Grade 11
- Third Place: Moli Ma, Bright Future, St. Luke's School, Stamford, Connecticut, Grade 12
Honorable Mentions were awarded to: Hannah Beebe, Tyler Friedman, Caelah Kennedy, Miles Kennedy, Gabriela Majewska, Kara Mitchell, Molly O'Neill, Sami Siegel, and Catherine Xie.
The exhibition also includes a mural created by MoCA Westport's Teen Council and the World’s Largest Abstract Painting, created by community members at a 2020 Family Event at the Museum.
