Your Chance to Punch 'Pharma Bro' in the Face
Martin Shkreli, the controversial pharmaceutical executive, is helping the family of his late friend, Mike Kulich, in an unusual way.

WESTPORT, CT — Former Westport resident and pornographer Mike Kulich died unexpectedly over the weekend, leaving behind a five-year-old son.
Now his friend, the notorious "Pharma Bro" pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli, is stepping up to help. Or, you could say, he's putting his best face forward.
Shkreli is raffling off a chance to punch him in the face to help raise money for Kulich's son, Tyler, who has battled leukemia.

Bids for the honor of hitting Shkreli are beginning to rack up, he says.
So far the two highest bidders to punch or slap me in the face are for $78,000 and $25,500. Let me know!

"Mike never imagined leaving this earth so soon, and unfortunately did not have a life insurance policy to provide for Tyler's care," wrote Michelle Burr, Tyler's mother, on the GiveForward page of the campaign. Kulich also passed away weeks before he was scheduled to marry his fiancee, Erin Clark. "The money that is raised is going to go into a trust to assist with Tyler's college education and future medical care, since there are life long side effects of Tyler's 3 year battle with Leukemia. Mike would have given Tyler the world if he could, and he will be greatly missed."

The GiveForward campaign seeks to raise $15,000, and as of today, Sept. 28, it had raised just over $6,500, not including Shkreli's offer.
